Happy Birthday, Trouble!

Just a few snapshots from Trouble’s celebration. This year it was all about Toy Story Legos. Because, you know, we needed more of those in our house.

  1. I want some cake! PLEEEASSE!

Darcy, thank you for you thoughts and well wishes a couple of weeks ago. It really meant a lot!

    • Scott – so glad you all are dry now. I simply can’t imagine the amount of work left to do for clean up. We’re rooting for Nashville!

  2. Can you really have enough Legos. 😛 We had a birthday celebration this weekend too. My princess turned 4 on the 15th. Happy birthday to your little trouble. 🙂 Very cute pictures.

  3. You can NEVER have enough lego – there is always that one special, necessary block that you need……..

What a cool looking cake! 🙂

  4. I . . . . . spy . . . . . with my little eye . . . . something furry and black. Hello, Lucy.

I love Toy Story. I completely approve of your birthday choice, Trouble.

    • That is her perching spot. She is there all the time. I prefer she stays there, because when she gets up, it’s a smudge of black fur.

She’s such a snot. If she’s not there, she’s perched her furry black body all over my freshly laundered clothes. Stinker.

  5. According to my children, there’s no such thing as too many LEGOs. They’re all grown up now, and we still have a giant Rubbermaid container of LEGOs waiting for the grandchildren. Happy Birthday, Trouble!

  9. The boys look like they’re having such fun! And I love those glasses, so cute!

We’re of the opinion also that you can never have too many Legos! For 9 years now since my youngest started playing with Legos, we have accumulated probably millions of pieces – birthdays, allowances, Christmas, garage sales, hand-me-downs from older cousins. And even my 15 year old still plays with them, though not as often as he used to. I should take pictures of our whole stash sometime. It may scare people! 🙂

  11. Where did your boys find those great funky glasses? I love them.
    Dana

    • Thanks!

They’re Rec Specs. My baby has been in glasses since age 2. They are the only pair that haven’t broken in less than a year. In 5 years he’s had 12 pr. But… in 4 years, he had 11 pr – so those have saved me $$$. They’re virtually indestructible.

  12. That last photo is the best smile ever! Wonderful capture!

  13. Can you ever have enough Legos? I’m not sure. I live in LegoLand North Carolina, and we quite obviously don’t have enough yet. It’s okay, though. Because I suppose we’ll have enough when I no long have a boy young enough to play with them. NOT GONNA HAPPEN ANYTIME SOON. Right?

That Trouble. . . he’s one cute fellow. Thanks for sharing his celebration with us!

  14. I still love seeing the hint of that medal on your birthday boy.

We like the Star Wars Lego’s here. They do battle daily with army men and hamsters.

  16. Awwww Trouble looks sooo happy!! Happy Birthday!! Adorable!! My favorite memory of him was him slapping the pink balloon and running away multiple times, hilarious!!!

  17. Happy belated birthday, Trouble! Oh how we love Legos. The Toy Story ones are be far our favorites right now, too. Doesn’t every house with boys need Legos seeping out of every nook and cranny?
