P52 Week 5: Shadows

project 52 p52 my3boybarians.com

Week 4: January 29 – February 4

Well, Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow today, predicting 6 more weeks of winter. As if on cue, Iowa is expecting 6-12 inches of snow this weekend… just in time for next week’s theme: Drink up!

So how was shooting shadows this week? Easier or harder than weeks past?

I posted several more weeks ahead for our weekly themes on the P52 FAQ page. Don’t forget to bookmark that page and check in for our assignments. Several have been suggested by you guys. If you have ideas for future weeks, please leave them on the m3b Facebook page.

ps – I was incredibly… I dunno, sounds so cheesy… incredibly proud of all the self-portraits last week. I know it was tough for many of you to step out of the security of the other side of the lens. And seeing all your beautiful faces… well, it might have been my favorite link up ever on this blog. Thanks to all the brave people who participated. And might I say?? We are a good-looking’ bunch. ;)

Okay, cannot wait to see your interpretation of shadows.

I can’t speak for others, but I know I had a harder time with this one. Trying to come up with something different proved to be challenging.
I loved all of the self portraits last week, too.

  2. so i was going to take my shoes and photograph all the different profile shadows they made on my driveway, but it was way to nice to not take my youngest out geocaching. Thank you for hosting!

Such a perfect theme for this week! I had to make shadows with my kindergartener last night for his homework!

I enjoyed this one. It was hard to catch my cat sitting still long enough to get her picture in the sun.

Thank you for going red in your profile pic today. If it’s not new today, oops – I get updates via email; but I click over when there’s a linky. =)

If you take any more pics with red today I would love to see them! You can post them to my FB fan page.

I plan on posting a collage of everyone who emails or posts #GoRed pics today.

Thought the clouds were never going to stop… of course on Groundhog Day the sun shines like crazy.

I had a photo, just didn’t post in time and doesn’t look like I can post it now. Darn.
