Welcome to the first week of our 52 weeks together!

In case you’re new to p52, I wrote a page about Project52 answering questions and setting some guidelines. There are also graphics for your posts and buttons for your sidebars if you want them. Please bookmark that page – it’s also where I’ll be listing the weekly themes.
This week’s theme is Resolution. Can’t wait to see how you all interpret that. Happy p52ing!
(looking for a p52 without themes? Consider Sweet Shot Tuesdays, instead.)

It feels good to start another P52; I’m sure this will be more challenging for me because of the “theme” aspect. Today, I ordered another photobook of my photos for 2011 (an earlier book had only 45 of the 52 images included). I’m a great believer in printing favorite photos in some way. Before, I made albums, but photobooks are easier. Thanks again for hosting this great challenge.
I am so happy to see this photo challenge!
I really enjoy how photo prompts make me think outside of the box. Thanks for making me crawl around on the floor to get my shot Darcy
Love this!
Hi Darcy, I just wanted to thank you for putting together this project. I am hoping that I can see it through as I have failed miserably at ‘a photo a day for a year’ attempts in the past. I put it down to the poor light of January and the short days here in the UK – plus my appalling memory means I simply just forgot to take a photo a few times! Best wishes for 2012, Anita
Hi! I just joined in when I was searching for a Project 52 group to join! My post this week doesn’t fit the theme, but I’m excited to stretch myself next week. This is my 3rd year doing a project like this and I love it, but this will be my first time joining in with a group and not doing it on my own. I think I’m going to like it!
Yay! I made it with my photo. I’m so excited! Please, everyone, hold me to this! I can only imagine how many pictures I’ll have at the end of 2012 that I would have/could have missed.
Thanks for hosting and taking charge. This is exactly what I need to keep me carrying my camera around.
Okay, I’m inspired to do this. I was on the fence about this because my photography skills kinda suck but I’m not going to get any better if I don’t practice, right? So hopefully by doing this and learning my way thru your 31 day series, I’ll get better! Yay for being inspired!! Thanks so much!!
I am excited about this project. I need something to motivate me and make me learn more. With editing my photo I did something I have never done before. So I am just pumped about that. My first week and I stretched myself. Not an award winning submission, but a learning one and that is more important to me.
Thank you for doing this!
” i did something i have never done before…” < < i love that! just made my day.
So excited to be joining you on this weekly journey Darcy & to see such a huge turn out the first week is awesome!
Looking forward to participating with you in this. I had taken a break from blogging since Thanksgiving and this will give me a good jumpstart into the new year.
So I am a day late in linking up, but I managed to get it done before next Friday so that’s good right?! Thanks so much for doing this project!
Thanks for the fun link up. I am enjoying everyone’s take on the theme.
I like the idea of a theme each week. Makes me be more intentional about my photography. Sometimes I need that. Thanks for hosting the link up!
Thanks for hosting this p52 – I have just submitted my first photo in a photo challenge and that’s pretty exciting. I can’t wait to do more and to develop my photography this year.
Better late than never! Finally got my first photo up, hopefully I’ll be a bit quicker for week 2!
Got my picture up and received some very positive feedback.
This has really helped as when I saw the first few pictures I was worried that I was rally out of my depth! Hope people continue to leave feedback to people as it does help. Now….. Weeks 2…….
