Don’t be afraid to give your best to what seemingly are small jobs. Every time you conquer one it makes you that much stronger. If you do the little jobs well, the big ones will tend to take care of themselves. -Dale Carnegie
When Nester encouraged a circle of bloggers to write about something we are passionate about for 31 straight days, she started a wave of 31 Dayers. Inspired by Darren Rowse’s 31 Days to Build a Better Blog – which is fabulous, as an aside, and from which I learned a ton! Recommend it especially if you wish to monetize your writing or if you’re in this blogging thing for the long haul – the idea of nurturing a topic more deeply and consistently for 31 days has become the blogosphere’s pièce de résistance.

Please join me and these remarkable women on your own 31 Days journey:
Nester – 31 Days of Charming Imperfection
Jen - 31 Days to Balancing Both Beauty and a Budget
Jessica – 31 Days of Memory Keeping
Melissa: 31 Days: Inspired Holidays
Sandy: 31 Days of Warmer Connections
Darcy: 31 Days of Photo Tips
Emily: 31 Days to Change the World
Emily: 31 Days of the Little Things
Now we invite you to join us in nurturing your own topic of passion for 31 days. Please introduce your 31 Days topic, tell us a bit about what to expect, and invite others to participate and come link their topic. Each of the 8 bloggers will host a linky like this at some time for their own niche of bloggers. While I tend to ramble about photo-specific topics, anyone participating in 31 Days is welcome to promote their topic here.
This linky will remain active until October 1. It will remain available so you can find other 31 Dayers and they can find you.
I can’t wait to see what you all have up your sleeves!

Oh man, this sounds fun. I don’t know if I have it in me though! You are so dedicated! Love that!
I loved your 31 days last year and can’t wait to see what you share again this time around.
I appreicate you Darcy, very much!
God bless,
Jill
Darcy, does the 31 days begin on October 1st? I’d love to do something along the lines of 31 days of homeschooling a child with special needs. Would that topic fit in?

Oh my goodness, if you do this I want to share it with our Jill’s House team here in Northern VA (http://jillshouse.org) – it is a respite care center for kids w/Special needs (so the families can have a respite from the care, and so the kids can have a place just for themselves) – it is amazing!
So if you do this – will you message me at my blog: http://jennyrain.com ?
I think there is definitely an audience for that topic. I encourage you to do it!
thanks for the linky party! looking forward to your series!!!
Bring it On Darcy! I thoroughly enjoyed 31 days to a better photo, it taught me so much in plain english! Can’t wait for 31 days of photo tips! Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge of this awesome craft!
Is there a site or a web resource you would recommend for me to learn to make a button for my 31 Days of Space?
I’d really appreciate anywhere you can point me too. Thank you. Have a great weekend.
I recommend Picnik for beginners, especially if you don’t own a graphics program like Photoshop.

I’m thinking of doing one on 31 Days of Cultivating Love and Honor in our children, or 31 Days of Healthier Living. I was just going to ask about making a button so I’m glad I read through the comments.
Bahaha, except now, I go to picnik and can’t figure out how in the world to do anything! Help???
The great gals at The DIY Club are teaming up with DecoArt to raise money for breast cancer awareness. Our 31 Days of Hope is an online DIY auction to benefit the National Breast Cancer Foundation. We’re so glad to be part of the 31 Days series. Thanks for the inspiration!
Hi, Darcy! I came across your page via Annie’s Musings and can’t wait to read your 31 Days!
Just posted on my blog so I’m committed to this now. I am going to blog about the lessons I have learned from mommyhood. I am excited to see what others have in store.
Thank you for the opportunity to share my 31 Day’s in October idea in this space. I will be blogging on the topic of abiding. I am a work-in-progress there, so am hoping to share what I am learning as I grow in the Lord.
What a fun 31 Day series. I’m truly inspired by y’all. I am new to the blogging world but will be participating in the challenge by writing about 31 Days of Strength <3
I did it
I am so thankful I found out about this today, just in time. I have been reading some wonderful stories and lessons about the women in the Bible. So, I will be discussing one woman each day and how we can translate the story and lessons to the 21st century woman. Looking forward also to Barbie’s at A Freshly Brewed Life.
This sounds really fun. Can I join? I’m thinking 31 days of Pampering Yourself
I think that sounds great!
Thanks. I also promoted your 31 day journey to my facebook, twitter and email followers
HOW SAD….I missed being included.
I can easily do 31 [or even 365] days of flowers.
