This week I get to share with you one of Sweet Shot Tuesday’s very own. Kristy has been a long time participant so many of you will recognize her beautiful images.

Kristy’s style is modern meets ephemera – and her artwork looks like love letters from long ago. Her signature style combines photography with textures and overlays to make her artwork. Kristy says this about her work,
“I am inspired by aging structures, thunderstorms, letters from the past, fields of rolled hay, rusting tractors, pattern of perfection imprinted on leaves, everyday items of yesteryear, and the wild tangling branches of old oak trees.
The create process is as important to me as the finished product. Burlap, aged postcards, pages torn from books, and stamped ink are a few of my favorite things to create with. Find inspiration and antiqued textures in my Etsy shop!
I’m giving away a copy of The Science of Textures eBook & kit to the sweetest shot! 2nd and 3rd prize winners can pick their favorite texture pack!”

Hey girl…I sent you an email. My blog is down and I didn’t know who to go to for that, or if it was just something I needed to wait out. Thanks friend:).
Oh my gracious, what lovely flowers – and intriguing special effects! I bet photos of our grandchildren would take on a sweetly old-fashioned look doing that? Thank you for another fun and fascinating week of great ideas that help spur me on to do more than just the basics with my easy to use digital camera. And thanks for another great contest as well.
I love her photos.
Love her art!
Hey Darcy – I have multiple pix in my post, but the one I’m entering for the competition is the very last one on the page (it is linked up and cropped on the linky too). Not entering the others… just the last one
Hope that is ok!
Hey Darcy – the pic I’m entering is the very last one on the post – not all of them. Hope that is ok. It’s the one of Kennard in the linky picture. Thanks
Absolutely!
Wow, Kristy’s photos are ART! The one (in the linky) I’m entering doesn’t even come close to that level. But it brings summer, sunlight, and warmth to me when I see it-oh, happy feeling! Thanks for hosting, Darcy. blessings on your week.
