Sweet Shot Tuesday

Ohhh, it’s been quiet around here. It’s been one of those weeks – I went in to the hospital with aches and pains and left minus an organ. So I have not picked up my camera in days. I did manage to get something up for Project52.

Have you all still been faithful to your P365 or P52 or “learning my camera” goals? How are those photo resolutions going?

Let’s see whatcha been up to!

I am so sorry about your hospital stay! I’ve been having pain from gallstones since July. Surgery is very risky for me so I’m trying natural methods! Hope your recovery is quick. If it isn’t too personal, did you have it done laproscopically?

    • Brooke M. says:

Read your post, hope I’m not intruding, but I had my gall bladder removed a few months back. I really really really did not want surgery. I tried some natural stuff and did cleanse regularly as to avoid surgery. But, the kept flaring up at the slightest intake of fat or red meat. I finally gave into surgery, I had it done laproscopically and all went well, my nerves were the worst part of it. I wasn’t able to lift anything heavy for a few weeks, but I healed well the incision was the worst part of it all, my doctor gave me staples and they pulled like crazy while healing and the bandages to cover them kept breaking me out. But the surgery went well and I healed quickly. I experienced none of the after effects, but I also changed my diet significantly, lowering my fat intake, especially fried food and red meat.

So I’m hoping that you didn’t leave any major organs behind. Darcy’s lung anybody?

Get better quickly and take care of yourself :-)

  9. I’m working on a Project 365, via my iPhone. It is going pretty easy. I break out my SLR for work way too much lately, and I need a break from that so I’m doing a ton of photos via my iPhone and that is ok.

yes, it was a gall bladder. And while it’s not completely vestigial, it’s not like a lung or anything. ;)
