Is there any way to ask everyone to PLEASE turn off the word verification – OH MY GOSH it takes way too long to comment because of them and I want to encourage others – are people really getting that much spam comments?

I made a request in the Sweet Shot Tuesday page to please turn off verification and MUSIC on Tuesdays, or really – everyday.
I think some people don’t even realize they have it or try to figure out how to turn it off.
It does make it really long to leave comments. an extra 30 seconds for 150 blogs is 75 minutes!
So few of us have an extra 75 minutes in our days. I agree that it’s courteous and respectful of your commenters time to remove captchas and verifications if possible.
However, some will continue to leave it. *shrug* We can keep trying, though!
