I can’t wait to share my Sweet Shot Tuesday image with you all. My family and I spent the holiday weekend out of state and while I was there I had a fab photo shoot with a sweet, crafty, little thing you all might recognize. The photos (hundreds and hundreds of them!) are currently working their way in from my memory cards. Can’t wait to show off another blogger friend. Hopefully I’ll get my act together before the linky closes on Saturday!
On that note – please don’t forget to stop by later in the week and show a little love to photographers who may join late in the game. The bloggers who tend to post on Tuesday get a lot of love. I leave the linky open until Saturday because some of us (ahem-me) just aren’t ready this early in the week. A lot of the latecomers are new to Sweet Shot Tuesday – and could use some TLC! We had 111 entries last week – WOOT!
On to business, I relied on the trusty folks at random.org to help me pick a winner for Kent Weakley’s Night Photography Class. In my poll in my last post, many people commented wanting to learn how to take better photos at night. Learning Kent’s tips for shooting in those low light situations can be applied in many ways. I hope many of you will be able to take this class and learn along side with me. We start next week!
The lucky winner is Angie from Living Each Moment and the Next. Congrats, Angie. Please shoot me an email, so I can get you in touch with Kent. We’re going to be so smart when Kent’s done with us! Angie shared this awesome photo during Sweet Shot Tuesday. I wonder who’s been playing with shutter speed?!
Okey doke – now’s your turn!

I can’t wait to see the pictures… by the way, hope you had a wonderful birthday! YOU ROCK! xo
Thanks, Alysha! <3
YEAH Angie!!! That’s my Pada-won!
You know what’s funny – I could tell from her blog that she had been doing some serious learning and practicing. Well yeah for Angie. Hopefully, this will be an extension of all the good stuff she and you have done already.
You’re a great teacher, Tracy.

Thank you so much!!!!!! I can’t wait for the class!! And thank you to Tracy for being such a great teacher!
We’re going to learn so much. I can’t wait to hear what Kent has to say about blue hour – it’s one of my favorite times to shoot.
Congrats again, Angie.
This is my first SST…looks like fun!
Hope you have a great day!
Welcome to SST!
Wow! Your shot is beautiful! I love it.
Just to clarify – the photo credit is on the image. Angie took that beautiful rapids shot.

It’s nice to spend time out of state on a vacation rather than work.
Lovely rapids shot, reminds me of fall.
