Sweet Shot Tuesday

I look forward to Tuesdays every week. You all make my blog look so pretty! Don’t forget to come back and check and see if you’ve won – we’ve had some amazing sponsors, and a couple winners who never came forward over the past 15 weeks. Can you believe this is Week 15 of Sweet Shot Tuesday?! You guys have made this so much fun.

Speaking of giveaways, this week the random winner of my favorite photography books is #7 Alysha who blogs at Supermom. Alysha shared this little beauty:

Congrats Alysha! Shoot me an email so I can get these books to you.

Onward!

This weeks featured shop is exactly what we girls need to look as good as our photos! Guys, don’t feel left out. Think of how happy the girl you love will be to get this. From Christy’s gorgeous etsy shop – Wired Whimsy – bio:

“My name is Christy and I’m newly addicted to jewelry designing. I am married to the perfect man (for me), and have two lovely children who I also homeschool.

I believe a fabulous pair of earrings is the ONLY thing that can offset a really bad hair day. I believe love & happiness are choices that need to be made daily. And I believe in eternal salvation through Jesus Christ.

My desire is to create jewelry that will enhance every woman’s natural beauty and infuse her with confidence. I’ve only been making jewelry for a tad less than a year, but I’ve learned SO much thus far which has allowed my designs and techniques to evolve over this past year. I’ve recently taken the leap to working with sterling silver (the stuff is expensive… Whew!), and I don’t believe I’ll ever work with anything else again! I already have some new sterling silver jewelry collections brewing in my brain and hope to release them this summer!

When I’m not making jewelry, or harassing my dashing husband and kids, you can find me on twitter, facebook, or at my blog Wired to the Whimsy. I’d love the opportunity to get to know you better!”

One participant will win a Sterling Silver Heart Set. (I couldn’t decide which pic i loved best – so I included both!)

Each heart has been hand forged and hammered for texture and shimmer by me. The pendant hangs from a petite sterling silver plated ball chain and is accented with one milky white Czech glass bead. The bracelet is draped in stunning Czech glass beads and closes with a hand forged sterling hook. Bracelet measures approx. 7 inches long.

Thanks, Christy!

Woot!

  2. Thanks for hosting! I used my real camera instead of my Iphone! Hooray. I might just figure that sucker out yet.

  3. Thanks for another great week of inspiration, Darcy. And Dawn, I especially enjoyed reading your comment. I’ve been thrilled with my easy to use digital camera results but forgot it on a bike ride with a good friend. I was so glad I had my iPhone as a back-up. So we are reversed! :) :) :)
