Eye of the Beholder…

Have you ever seen a photograph or image and thought, “…wow. I would love to be able to capture images like that!” Do you feel like your images are ordinary compared to another photographer who always seems to get it right? I feel like that all. the. time.

It may be that the other photographer has an amazing camera, has a unique post-processing method, lives or travels somewhere extraordinary… but chances are, more often than not, it’s the perspective of the camera holder.

C’mon over and read the rest… I’m guest posting over at Robyn’s place. See ya’ there!

Loved your post, Darcy! Such a simple but very important thing to do when we’re all out trying to get “the shot”. I agree that by changing our perspective, the ordinary is magically moved into the realm of fantastic and extra-ordinary!

    …Maybe this is even true in life….? :o )

  6. Thanks for the tips, Darcy! It’s great to constantly remind ourselves of ways to get a new perspective. I love to get in nice and close, but I don’t know if my subjects agree! :)
