… taste soooo good.
Thanks to all of you who participated in the first Sweet Shot Day. We had over 60 entries… using everything from point-n-shoots, to iphones, to $5k pro cameras… and everything in between. Be encouraged!
Remember - if you own a camera, you are a photographer.
It’s okay if you’re not a pro. It’s okay if your camera is a phone or if you pay 4 digits for a lens. The memories you capture are precious and will be meaningful to the generations behind you. Sweet Shot day is meant to get you to click, click, click, so you can post new shots you took each week.
And guess what? This week one lucky participant will win a give-away. Yay.

I make coffee in a moka pot too! I love mine so much I own two. (sheepish grin) Snow is the exact opposite of our 80 and sunny here. Too crazy. Thanks again for hosting sweet shot day, it is so fun and inspiring to check out others photos. You are such an encouragement.

I have never really seen snow fall, so I get a little jealous. It’s going to be in the 80′s today.
All the new blooms around here are now drenched with rain. This always seems to happen when I am grocery shopping. Who doesn’t love to load and unload groceries in a downpour?

to follow up on the scroll bar/page up and down — the scroll bar works beautifully with chrome. all pages on the site when viewed with my firefox browser require the page up/down button. am I the only one with this issue?

I would love to know if anyone else can’t scroll in Firefox either. I’m on FF right now and it works for me. I wonder if it’s specific to the machine – like I’m on a Mac with the most recent release of FF. I wonder if it’s related to the program for PCs?
Anyone else on Firefox having trouble?

I so wanted to join along but the day got away from me and by the time I remembered to actually link up, it was Wednesday. I shoot and post every day, so I should have been able to do it – ugh! LOL
Oh well, I’ll catch it this coming Tuesday.
The shots in this post are so gorgeous!!! I have a hard time remembering that photography isn’t a race, it’s a marathon – slow and steady to stay the course. BUT, I want to be good now!! LOL

Ah, the Bialetti pot. Coffee does taste better in cold weather, doesn’t it? We lived in Michigan when my boys were small. . . my middle son started drinking coffee at age 2. Decaf, of course.
I think March is the hardest month in the midwest. My heart always told me it was supposed to be spring; the weatherman told me it was still winter.
But spring is coming! Really!
