You may need to turn off the music so you can hear the monsoon snowflakes.
ps – It’s an hour later and the world is now totally white. Not even the evergreen are green!
I love Iowa, I love Iowa, I love Iowa…

My sister in Iowa told me she feels like she could shovel snow till the cows come home and not be done, particularly because the cows can’t come home, because there’s too much snow in the way. Of course, she doesn’t actually own any cows either, so that could explain the continual shoveling.
Lee…living where it should be in the low 80s this week
I love it! We have snow here too right now, although some of it did melt today
Hehehehe!
Funny, I took a picture of my car’s dashboard again, but thought twice about posting it in the event of being bombarded with snowballs. LOL It read…ummmm…(dodging now)…ummm…(running for cover)…83! LOL
I’ll post a picture of Whoogie and her cousin playing outside today. She’s wearing shorts. :0
Twinnie’s been shoveling snow like crazy. I like to text and laugh at her as well. LOL I’m so mean. ahohehahoehahehoh
LOL… you are a hoot… although we have had our share of snow and rain this year… thank you very much! *Ü* the last big snow we had around 15 inches… not the norm around here….
We did go out today for our green hour challenge *Ü* It was nice… we are finally getting some good weather…
Lisa~
Well I am laughing right now but you’ll be the one laughing in August. I’ll be covered in mosquitoes and suffocating in 98 degree heat with 98% humidity. You can’t even walk to your car without breaking a sweat. Trying to breathe when you open the door is hard. ICK!! These are the months I love Houston and June-Sept I just endure. Hang in there. All that snow has to melt sometime, right?!
Jennefer (wearing shorts and a short sleeved t-shirt as she writes this!)
You all need shorter snow shovels. All that snow you are shoveling keeps coming over the hill into my backyard! Hmmmmf!!
I’m not really complaining. I’ve got northern exposure. Hubby and I just laugh at our neighbors across the street shoveling away and our lawn is clear and seriously has some green grass shooting up already. hehehe
That beautiful pic you posted almost makes me love the snow……..oh…ok….over it now. It was great while it lasted.
Jennefer has an excellent point. We’ll be wanting to come see ya around the middle of July when the humidity has sucked the life out of us! hehe! No wonder we start school the Monday after July 4th! We all hybernate in the A/C!!
;’)
I completely agree with Jennefer – just wait until summer when we are all locked inside because the air is too thick to breathe and the mosquitos have themselves pressed to the glass while they try to figure out a way inside and while they assemble the troops to attack inmass if we happen to open a door! It’s not as warm here in Atlanta today – it’s in the 40′s with lots of rain, thunder and lightning…no “green hour” for us either!
My boys all heard that song and RAN to the computer saying “it’s the apple song!”
How funny! Why does that song make me feel happy? so you!
Jennefer said it! Our summers here are wicked! Hot, humid, lots of skeeters (I rarely go out). You will be laughing at us then.
We’ve had nothing this year. NOTHING! I just want one simple little snow to play in. But nope, you all took it all.
Have fun in the mud! And we have some little flowers popping up in our woods now too.
melissa
At least you get snow…all we’ve gotten this year are ice storms that cause lots o problems…and by the way, I laughed out loud when I saw the SAMANTHA FOX comment you left….totally cracked me up…
Greetings from Chicago… “I feel your pain.” It snowed here AGAIN last night. Probably not as much as Iowa, but it just keeps coming and coming. Ugh. Hang in there!!! Every day is another day closer to warmth!
I’m so sick of snow….go away, go away!
LOL!! Guess what, we have daffodils AND gerber daisies! AND it was 70Ëš today.
We also did school outside a few days ago and today we played with a caterpillar.
And now I’m sure we’ll be hit with the worst rainstorm in history just because I was being mean.
We did have record rain this last weekend if that makes you feel any better.
LOL That was too funny! I so feel for you.
)
We just started having some nice weather last week. But it is still cold outside. You need to still wear a coat and keep bundles up.
Definately not go the beach to do your schoolwork while basking in the sun type weather like another blogger I know. ;o) *wink*
After living in Iowa- I could feel the bitter cold! We received another 8-10 inches yesterday here – This was a stark reminder of my good ol Bettendorf, IA days!
yikes!! well, shovelling and driving in it aside, it’s so pretty to look at.
